This 4 days Kenyan Wildlife Safari departs from your accommodation either in Diani, Bamburi or Malindi/Watamu to the inland National Parks of Tsavo West, Amboseli and Tsavo East providing an amazing insights to the spectacular Kenyan sceneries, wildlife and culture. The Safari take you to the mesmerizing scenes of Tsavo West before proceeding to Amboseli with its incredible scenic beauty with large herds of elephants and Mt. Kilimanjaro dominating the landscape. I then continues on words to the vast open savannas of Tsavo East renowned for its large numbers of elephant and the famous man-eating lions.

Itinerary

Day 1Mombasa – Tsavo West National Park

You will be picked from your hotel Tsavo West via Nairobi – Mombasa highway as you head to Tsavo with a game drive en-route to your Lodge/camp for check in and lunch.
The park has fascinating geological formations dotted with several volcanic hills.

Relax before heading out for an afternoon game drive which includes a visit to Chyulu hills and the roaring rocks that catches the wind and sends it through the vast plains. Time allowing, you may also visit the Ngulia Rhino sanctuary , a 90-sq-km area that provides a measure of security for around 80 of the park’s highly endangered black rhinos.

Day 2Tsavo West – Amboseli

Wake up for an early breakfast and check out as you head out to Mzima springs, the chain of lakes with crystal clear waters are home to These crystal clear pools are a favorite hangout for hippos and crocodiles. The main attraction is a submerged viewing tank which was designed so that people could watch the hippo’s antics underwater, but the hippos have retreated shyly to the side of the pool though you get a great view of the fish. Mzima forms a haven for a rich wildlife pageant with elephant, hippo, crocodiles, gazelles, zebra and giraffe together with hundreds of chattering monkeys and birds. Time allowing, you can also visit the poachers lookout, this hilltop vantage point offers fine views out over the park, and especially fine views west to the plains of the Amboseli ecosystem and Mt Kilimanjaro.
Continue on wards to Amboseli national park with a game drive en-route to arrive in time for lunch.
Relax before departing for afternoon game drive in search of the big five as you enjoy the spectacular views of the Africa’s highest snow capped peaks of Mount Kilimanjaro.

Return to your Lodge/luxury camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 3Amboseli– Tsavo East National Park

Wake up for an early morning game drive around the park, due to its size, animal sightings is guaranteed and plenty.
Return to the camp/lodge for breakfast before proceeding to Tsavo East National Park. this park is known for its huge herds of ‘red elephants’ that dust themselves with the red-oxide soil so typical of Tsavo. Other species to be on the look-out for are the endemic desert warthog, hirola (also known as Hunter’s hartebeest) and Peter’s Gazelle. You will check in for lunch before embarking on an afternoon game viewing in search of Elephants ,the man eaters of Tsavo, Buffalo, cheetah, Giraffe and other plain game. The park is easy to navigate as it predominantly lies on a plateau of open thorn country scattered with rocky outcrops and giant baobab trees. The Yatta plateau, one of the world’ longest lava flows runs along the entire western boundary.
You may head to North of the Galana river, a remote wilderness with dense Acacia commiphora woodland – good for walking safaris. The area around Mudanda Rock forms a natural dam with an observation point for excellent game viewing as concentration of elephant and other wildlife come to drink.

Day 4: Tsavo East National Park - Mombasa

Being your last day on this exciting Safari, you will wake up for an early morning game drive around the park before returning for breakfast and check out.
Leave for Mombasa with a picnic lunch or in an open air restaurant overlooking the Tsavo East plains.
Optional visit to the Masai village at extra costs.
Arrival at Mombasa in the late evening
